Dashboard Overview

This topic explains the different areas a user may access when granted by their system rights.

The Dashboard provides real-time scheduling and person information. Content is displayed in tiles for users to easily navigate to another area of the application.

Tiles included in this application are: Schedule, Accruals, My Information, Paybacks, Features Vacancies, Quick Links, and Requests.

The Dashboard tiles display:

  • *Shift Schedule
  • Additional assignments
  • Opportunities for extra work
  • Availability status
  • Request statuses for the next two weeks
  • Paybacks (Who Owes Me/I Owe)
  • **Featured Vacancies 1
  • Accrual Balances 2
  • Quick links to...
    • Update your password
    • Personal History Report
    • Contact Log
    • Edit Counts on the Threshold Calendar
    • Access Link Groups

*The Dashboard displays shifts that start from today and onward. This means, if the staffing record starts on yesterdays shift and through the next day, then that shift start appears yesterday and would not appear through the next day on the Dashboard.

** To post vacancies on the dashboard see: Post Event Vacancies on the Dashboard

Featured Vacancies

Featured Vacancies display on the Roster when the event has Vacancy Flags applied. The standard event functions display minimal vacancy details for Featured Vacancies. The add-on module, Extra Duty Events (EDE) displays additional vacancy details including a position link that opens a detail dialog with additional information about the event, position, vendor name, event name, location, URLsm and more.

Manage Dashboard Tiles

Tiles are visible by default, but can be hidden site-wide by a System Administrator type user.

To manage the visibility of tiles on the Dashboard open the security.properties file located in the installation files of this application prior to application version 7.4. After application version 7.4, go to the tenant Properties area in Setup.

Setting the following property flags to false will hide the corresponding tuke. Setting the flag to true exposes the tile.

  • Accruals: global.dashboard.accrual.display
  • My Info: global.dashboard.myinfo.display
  • Paybacks: global.dashboard.paybacks.display
  • Quick Links: global.dashboard.links.display
  • Requests: global.dashboard.requests.display

Dashboard with Time Zones

Organizations with multiple time zones configured display an icon that looks like a clock when an assignment occurs in a different time zone.

About Link Groups

Link Groups let you add external links and preconfigured Task Manager tasks to the Quick Links card on the Dashboard. Your active Profile determines which links — if any — appear on your Dashboard. External links can point to resources such as SharePoint, internal reports, or Power BI. When you select an external link, it opens based on your browser settings (new tab or window). You can also include frequently used Task Manager tasks (e.g., Auto‑Hire, Auto‑Assign, Auto‑Notify) so authorized users can run them directly from the Dashboard using the Play icon next to the task.

1 Extra Duty Event vacancies feature a position details link. Extra-Duty Events add-on license required to access.
2 Accrual balances in period are for the calendar year. Real-Time accrual balances available in WFM only.
